OEA Centennial Dinner

As the Oregon Executives Association celebrates 100 years of bringing Portland’s business leaders together to build relationships, strengthen companies, and invest in one another’s success, the Centennial Gala Dinner marked the beginning of a special year of celebration. What began in 1926 as a bold idea—to gather regularly, intentionally, and build something lasting through connection—continues to shape OEA a century later.

Held on Thursday, April 9, at Eastmoreland Golf Club, OEA’s Centennial Dinner brought together current and past members for a memorable evening of celebration, reflection, and reconnection. The event honored not only the organization’s remarkable history, but also the people and relationships that have made OEA such a trusted and enduring part of Portland’s business community.

Guests enjoyed a wonderful dinner, opening remarks, shared memories, and a toast to the legacy of those who helped build OEA over the past 100 years. More than a celebration of the past, the evening was also a reminder of OEA’s enduring purpose: that strong businesses and a strong city are built through community, trust, and showing up for one another—on purpose.

As the first of several events planned throughout OEA’s centennial year, the Centennial Dinner set the tone for a meaningful celebration of the organization’s legacy and the future of Portland’s business community.
